How does clean differ from salvage and rebuilt?

Clean — the car has not been declared a total loss. Salvage — it has been, and the rebuild is not confirmed. Rebuilt — it was declared a total loss and rebuilt with an inspection. The price falls in that same order, and the risks rise the same way.

Can a car with a salvage title be imported into Russia?

Such cars are imported and cost noticeably less, but their condition has to be assessed especially carefully. We always state the title status before the bid — you will not learn about it after the fact.

How is a title checked before purchase?

By VIN through Carfax and the history databases. We do this before bidding on every lot and show you the result together with the damage photos.

Is a car with a problematic title worth taking for the saving?

Sometimes yes — if the damage is to the body, the repair is clear and you are not planning a quick resale. We assess the scope of work before the bid so that the saving does not turn into a loss, and we say honestly when the game is not worth the candle.
