How can I tell the real condition of a car from an auction?

We look at Carfax and the history by VIN, study the damage photos and, where needed, order an inspection at the yard. The Copart and IAAI auctions handle insurance lots among others, so checking here is not a formality but the main thing you pay us our fee for.

How long does a car from the USA take?

Usually 2–3 months: inland logistics across the USA to the port, sea freight, customs clearance and delivery within the destination country. It is the longest route of all our regions, and we say so up front rather than after the contract is signed.

Is it worth buying a damaged car to rebuild?

Sometimes yes — if the damage is to the body rather than the structure, and you understand the cost of the repair. We show the damage photos and assess the scope of work before bidding, so that a saving on the lot does not turn into a loss on the repair. The decision is always yours, but with the full picture.

Who handles customs and the paperwork?

We do: calculating duties and the recycling fee, the customs broker, lab testing, the electronic vehicle passport (ePTS). You receive a fully cleared car with documents, ready to be registered, and become its first owner in Russia.
